Inspired by the Large Chiminea Build, we’ve decided to offer two smaller versions that can be shipped directly to you anywhere in the US for one flat rate. Even better, we’re covering the shipping, so it’s “free” to you.
The taller ~45” Chiminea (affectionately referred to as “small”) and the shorter 23” tall model (“micro”) both ship with their side panels in two pieces which you weld together then assemble the entire structure as a square and weld in the base plates, as well as the firebox plate in the small model.
The small model also features a second opening under the firebox to store wood.
Each kit is CNC plasma cut from 12ga steel (just under 1/8” thick). 12ga is heavy enough to lay a hot weld into so you’ll get some good practice running longer beads. You will get to practice but joints, inside corner welding, and a lot of outside corner welding, all assisted by the instructions that are included with your kit.
Please note this Chiminea is a device designed to hold fire. It will get hot and must be used in a manner that is safe and away from structures, brush, children, pets, and snowmen for the safety of life and property.
NEW: We are making the tallest option available. Standing 82” tall, 23.5” wide at the base, just as shown in the picture with Richard standing next to it. This kit is 7 panels per side, so there is a substantial amount of welding involved. If you want some practice, this kit can hardly be beat!
